We expected wet and soggy conditions, but what we got was the opposite! Although still a little wet in areas, it was a typical magic day on the Sunshine Coast for SCGCs Round 2 event at Noosa Springs. What an awesome course this one is, make sure it goes on your bucket list to!
In the end scoring proved difficult with no players finishing in red figures - but leading the way was the Crew Captain Adam 'Panda' Bain on a very tidy 35 points! Coming in at 2nd place (and actually had a 2 shot lead with 2 to play) was Steve 'Sir Chokesalot' Nicholls on 34 points and Sharon Spencer rounding out the top 3 with an impressive 31 points. Honourable mention to our best gross Travis Andreas who shot an 84 off the stick - and also to Jason Smith who was our clubs (and in fact all of Golf Crew Australia's) very first water dunking! Jason slipped off the green and over the ledge to land fully submerged in the water!
