20 players helped officially kick off the BOQ and Drummond Golf Sunshine Coast Golf Crew Season 1 Race at Palmer Coolum today. And scoring proved tough with only one player finishing in red figures! That player was James Robinson who carded an impressive 2 under his handicap - 38 stab points. Coming in at second place was Jim Brodie who was pushing him all the way up until the last hole. Rounding out 3rd place was their Club Captain Adam Panda Bain shooting a slick 35 stab points. Honourable mention goes to Travis Andreas who took out our best gross managing to break 80 with a 79 good ones around a very difficult track!
Huge thanks to everyone for a great day and what looks to be a great season! Another honourable mention goes to our 4 'GCGC' boys who left at the crack of dawn to debut in the SCGC race - Tony Byrnes, Dwayne Scicluna, Owen Ainsworth (2020 GCGC Champion) and Levi Clarke. Huge day!
