A full field of 32 players (we almost had one no-show with 'said person' turning up to Noosa Springs) to get the season underway and to get their Season 2 race campaigns off to a flying start. And it was Peregian Springs hosting our season kick off. Peregian Springs is a parkland style course with plenty of water and bunkers lurking around the corner. Handling the slower paced greens the best was Round 1 winner Jim Brodie - carding an impressive 39 points. Hot on his heels though was the fast finishing Kylie Jeffery who lit up the back 9 with 22 points (38 overall) - edging out Ben Newman on a count back who also shot a great 38 points.
