In 2020 GCGC lost a good soldier who went rogue and moved to Orange in NSW. Whilst there he found some lost souls looking for a regular hit of golf, a beer and a laugh - and just like that OGC was born.

2020 was the inaugural Season 1 for the OGC and what a mark they left on Newcastle! Recommendations after Season 1 were that they all change their shirts and become unrecognisable, or race to Dubai in 2021.

After a full season under their belts, the OGC stepped it up a notch and raced to the prestigious DuntryLeague CC. The yellow, red and pink hats returned for another season as well! OGC also introduced their first golf trip for Season 2 and travelled to another gem - Mollymook Golf Club.
